Tina’s Life Was Flying Away
The only photos on this 1940s American album page that have any information on them, give confilicting details about the woman who is featured in four of the images. There is no doubt that her 
name is Tina but the pictures on the bottom right, obviously taken on the same day, indicate her to be 17 or 18 and 22 years old. The vagaries of memory can make studying old photos challenging but also amusing. Please click on the album page to see it in more detail.
I initially thought that this lass was also Tina but have since decided that it is more likely her sister. What do you think?

i think they’re all tina – she may have compiled them later in life to trace herself through the years, or maybe it was a relative?

I think it is the same person, at least all the older ones are.
Reminiscent of what my grandmother did to photo albums of my grandfathers – writing on them, cutting bits out, mislabeling the people and their ages, and so on. All when she was in her dotage.

No doubt this was a factor in the mislabelling. I’m still not sure if they are all TIna but I’ve had some great comments on this post!
