Happy New Year, Kate! Sorry I haven’t been around a while. I did only a bare minimum online to keep the blog alive. Glad to see your blog still running. Wishing you all the best! ❤
Thank you, it has been a challenging year. I only posted the scheduled stuff, and by Christmas I had no material to post anymore, so I will probably post only once in two weeks from now, until I am back to normal (hopefully) in July . How are you these days? If you haven’t been online means you were not well… Hope you are feeling better now. I too don’t want to share my health problems to the world at large 🙂 Hopefully this year is healthier and happier than the previous one.
Thank you for the links Ann! I did enjoy looking at them more than once. The strip of your delightful grandmother is, I believe, a strip of penny photos which preceded automated photobooths. I have numerous ones in my collection but these are the first I have seen with provenance attached. It must be so lovely to have these! I also loved the tintype that followed the strip and her 18th birthday portrait. She was lovely in face and expression! And your daddy. What a cutie. He looks so much fun! Happy New Year!
My heart sang when I saw Photobooth Journal in my inbox. Happy New Year, and let’s have a good one, Sweet Kate.
