2 January 2000, Charlottenburg Bahnhof, Berlin

Berlin-Charlottenburg is a railway station situated in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. As usual I was always on the lookout for a photobooth and thus, very pleased to find this one. I was in Germany for the Year 2000 celebrations, and spent New Years Eve at the Brandenburg Gate. What an amazing night!

What did you do for the millennium celebrations? Please let me know in the comments section, below.

27 December 1999, Dublin Airport, Dublin

This large format photobooth photo was an option that was quite rare for chemical booths when they were more prevalent than the now ubiquitous digital booths. I was on my way to Berlin for the Year 2000 celebrations and found this booth near the check-in at Dublin Airport.

The photo measures 90 x 135 mm.

Thanks Mister Zone from Berlin. I hate making mistakes and appreciate being picked up on them when I do.

In my never ending pursuit of fabulous photobooth photos, I come across many other types of vintage photos that take my fancy. Some time ago, while browsing online, I spotted a lot of photographs of a vaudeville actor and his partner that really fired my imagination. After having purchased one group of pictures, another lot was listed, which I also bought. The seller had apparently purchased over 400 Read More
