Eleanor’s Memory Book
Below are scans of a tiny photo album of booth photos owned by a woman named Eleanor. They seem to date from the 1940s. Scraps of acetate attached to the spiral binding, show that there are some pages missing. The book measures 47 x 45 mm including the spine.
Only two images are identified. The names are noted under the photos. Each picture is much clearer and crisper than the yellowing acetate allows us to see, so I have scanned them out of the book as well. Please click on the gallery, below to see them in a larger format.

Photobooth Journal

There are things that never change, like the spark in young people’s eyes. There is something… a feeling of invincibility, an idea of unfulfilled but yet material potential that fades away in real life but never in pictures. Awesome little gem. Thank you!
